About

Engineer by craft. Leader by responsibility. Curious by default.
I started as a web developer building enterprise systems, and over 12 years grew into leading engineering teams — most recently as an Engineering Manager. Along the way I've written a lot of Go, Ruby, and TypeScript, built CI/CD pipelines from scratch, and spent as much time on how teams work as on how systems are architected.
I care about clean architecture and test-driven development not as dogma, but because they're what let a team move fast without breaking things later. At Bukalapak I led a monolith-to-microservices migration end to end — architecture, plan, and execution — and cut a high-traffic endpoint's latency by 80% along the way. At GovTech Edu I helped teams ship faster by automating manual build and release processes.
These days, at Fazz Capital Finance, my focus has shifted further toward people and process: building the IT engineering team, leading it to ISO 27001 certification, and keeping a financial platform reliable under audit-grade scrutiny. I'm still hands-on when it matters, but most of my leverage now comes from the people and systems I help set up to succeed without me in the room.
Outside of a job title, I'm still the same engineer who likes simplifying complicated things — that's what this site, and the writing on it, is mostly about.
